The Amityville Community and the Amityville Fire Department teamed up to create the AFD Cares/Sandy Relief Fund. Anyone from the Village of Amityville who suffered significant damage to their home is eligible to enter a lottery for a $250 gift card to Home Depot or Lowes. They will raffle off as many cards as the fund allows starting in December and will continue as long as funds are available.
